01 / Selected work

Built. Tested.
Explained.

Three engineering projects, with interactive demonstrations, design decisions, and reproducible test results.

01Developer infrastructure

TriageCI

A self-hosted CI failure-intelligence service that turns noisy test failures into explainable flaky-test and regression signals.

  • HMAC-authenticated, idempotent ingestion
  • Bounded worker queue with backpressure
  • Transactional SQLite WAL storage
  • Prometheus metrics and GitHub webhooks

Measured result

12,261observations / second · local median

375,000 observations processed across three local 64-client stress runs with zero processing failures. Detected all five seeded flaky tests and three sustained regressions in every run.

02Distributed systems

RaftKV

A three-node, crash-recoverable key-value store built from scratch to make Raft’s hardest failure modes observable and testable.

  • Majority commits and linearizable reads
  • Conflict-hint log repair and snapshots
  • C11/JNI write-ahead log with CRC32
  • Torn-tail recovery and fault injection

Measured result

1,000seeded fault scenarios

Exercised partitions, crash/restart, duplicate delivery, and recovery. A separate local WSL2 live-cluster run observed 186 ms failover.

03Local-first software

SyncLab

An encrypted collaborative editor that keeps accepting edits offline, converges after reconnect, and keeps document contents opaque to the relay.

  • Operation-based CRDT and anti-entropy
  • Persistent encrypted outbox replay
  • Ordered ASP.NET Core WebSocket relay
  • Out-of-order and duplicate delivery tests

Measured result

250Kreplica-operation observations

200 randomized trials × 250 operations × five replicas. Temporary message loss and duplicates are followed by an anti-entropy pass that checks replica convergence.

02 / Experience

Engineering with impact.

Codentrel

Software Engineering Intern

Turning operational data into faster decisions.

Contributed to the development of a custom CRM with a React dashboard for Codentrel's modular workforce platform, serving 15+ internal users, automating 10 workflows, and consolidating 50+ KPIs. The system cut reporting effort by 75% and saved 10 staff hours per week.

Resolved 50+ issues reported during beta testing, added live updates, and shipped drill-down reports, filters, and exports. Built 60+ Playwright test suites into GitHub Actions and AWS ECS delivery, preventing 2 defects from reaching production.

Google Developer Groups on Campus

Volunteer & Workshop Mentor

Helping students build for the web.

Coordinated 10 hands-on workshops for approximately 100 participants, covering web fundamentals, APIs, GitHub, and deployment.

Guided 5 participants through building and deploying personal portfolio websites, providing live debugging and one-on-one support in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GitHub, and Firebase.

03 / About

Beyond the code.

I study Computer Science with a minor in Business at the University of Guelph, where I’ve earned Dean’s Honour List recognition. I’m most drawn to software where correctness, performance, and clear reasoning all matter.

As a volunteer with Google Developer Groups on Campus at Guelph, I help coordinate web-development workshops and mentor participants as they build and deploy personal portfolio websites.

I enjoy the full engineering process: understanding the problem, implementing a solution, and testing the assumptions behind it.

01

Distributed systems

Raft consensus, CRDTs, replication, recovery, linearizability, and failure-oriented design.

02

Backend & data

Node.js, ASP.NET Core, REST, WebSockets, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, indexing, and observability.

03

Delivery & quality

Docker, Linux, GitHub Actions, fault injection, load testing, Jest, Vitest, and clear engineering docs.

04 / Contact

Let’s build something useful.

I’m looking for software engineering internships and co-ops, especially in backend systems, developer tools, and full-stack engineering. Based in Toronto, Canada.
